Absolutely! No prior experience is needed.
All our courses are designed to start with beginner-friendly, foundational concepts, making them suitable for kids of all levels.
Whether your child is exploring this for the first time or already has some exposure, they’ll feel supported, engaged, and excited to learn.
From idea to interface, kids will learn how to build their own video game from scratch. They'll explore game logic, storytelling, design principles, and basic coding, bringing characters and challenges to life through easy-to-use software.
Takeaway: By the end of camp, each child will walk away with a fully playable game of their own creation, ready to share and show off!
This course helps kids move beyond just clicking pictures by introducing them to the fundamentals of traditional photography. They’ll explore different styles and techniques (product, fashion, portrait..) and build a photo story series to express a theme or idea visually.
Takeaway: Every child will build a mini portfolio of their best shots, featured in a student photo exhibition at the end of camp.
Kids become creators in this hands-on robotics lab, learning how to design, assemble, wire, and program a fully functional robot. They'll dabble in art animation, circuits, 3D printing, and logic-based coding, turning their vision into a working prototype.
Takeaway: Camp ends with a friendly robot challenge and yes, they get to take their robot home!
Kids will discover textile arts through fabric painting, pattern-making, embroidery, and basic stitching. They’ll explore traditional textile forms, understand sustainable fashion and up-cycling, and design their own wearable art or fabric-based project by the end of the program.
Takeaway: Each child will take home their own handcrafted textile projects, designed and made entirely by them.

The exact classroom schedule based on your child’s selected course will be shared after registration, along with the contact details of Urban School’s designated coordinator for your chosen venue.
Parents/guardians are kindly requested to arrange pick-up and drop-off as per the specific session timings shared.
We’ve got most things covered — all essential materials and equipment related to the course will be provided by us. However, here’s what your child should carry:
A water bottle

Course-specific essentials:
Game Development & Robotics: A laptop is mandatory for these courses so your child can build and code independently.
Photography: A digital camera is encouraged for hands-on project work during the Photography module. However, iPads or smartphones with good camera quality will work just as well! Our mentors will guide students on how to make the most of whichever device they bring.
Textiles: Just enthusiasm! All fabric, tools, and art materials will be handed out on Day 1.
Other than laptops and cameras, everything else your child needs including kits and take-home materials will be provided by the camp.
